My Dad would play their music when I was a child. Their music seemed likeable enough though I never truly understood WHY he liked them so much. Then I read a few Beach Boys' biographies and became fascinated by their story and music. And THEN I really listened to their music and 'got it.' Over the past 10 years I've seen Brian Wilson in concert 3 times. In eighteen days I will walk down the aisle to 'God Only Knows.' I adore this song.

Thank you for your message! I don't remember if he played 'god only knows' at the concert. good question. i don't think that he did. and yes, i did see love actually a few times! they used that song very well indeed. i hope your trip to NYC was good! (5/5/2008)
