My friend Kristi has just bought a new Toyota pickup truck, and she hadn't had the stereo installed yet, so we took turns picking songs from wherever and singing to them a capella. It was silly, but it was fun and a way to pass the time. "Groove Is in the Heart" is one of those songs, and it seems like we sang that one more often than any other, and what's worse is that we didn't know all of the lyrics, so it was an endless loop of certain parts of the song. "The depth of hula groove moves into the nth hoop..." and on and on. Love it still.
