College Concert

Dashboard Confessional is one of my favorite bands, and I have gone to four of their concerts so far in my life. One of the first times I went to one though was the best because it was with a bunch of my college friends. Going to that concert was the best college experience, and it is one that I will remember forever.

It all started when five of us wanted to go to their concert, but it was at another college and couldn’t get tickets. We ended up taking a three hour long road trip to that college though in case we could get tickets. When we got there, one of my friends somehow saw someone they knew from home that went to the college. That person got us tickets at the front of the stage, and we sang our hearts out the whole time.

In the middle of the concert, I noticed a couple of my friends were gone. It ended up that they tried to sneak backstage and did so successfully. They hung out with the band for awhile and got autographs for everyone, and I still have my autograph hanging on my wall. At the end of the night it was too late to drive home, so we slept on the floor in the dorms of the person we now knew. The whole experience was great because everything ended up going our way the whole trip. With no plans and hardly any money at all, it was one of my favorite times at college.
