High School in my younger days not much younger thoughLOCATION: Friends 16'th Birthday party , Atlanta GAYEAR: 2001TAGS: Destiny's ChildPUBLISHED: February 15, 2008Many years ago.. ok not that long ago, but it sure feels like it.  When I hit high school it was all about the sweet sixteen birthday parties. Call it shallow, or call it being a teenager, it doesn't change the memory of destiny's child. The music triggers flashbacks of a friend I used to hang out with in high school. She was Puerto Rican and was having a 15'th birthday party. In their culture this is the coming of adulthood party. With it, there is a lot of expensive accomodations. I'm talking ballroom, 12 coarse catering, the whole nine yards. I'm not big on dresses, but when I figured out I was invited to her birthday I freaked.  The dancefloor was crazy that night. Loud music blaring into the wee hours of the morning, good time. No no no.. came on and we all danced, it was just a fun night.  Â
