I'm sure everyone remembers those younger days of high school.  With that, certain memories stick out, especially with a good song.  "Let it be" is one of those songs that is simply timeless.  I know as a freshman in high school I received the Beatles greatest hits album for a Christmas present.  For some reason this is the best gift I thought I had received that year.  Call me easy to please, but it's the meaning behind this song that gets me everytime.

The song I can relate to because it expresses the fact you cannot change anything in life, or control anyone.  Sometimes it is best to just "let it be."  You  have to realize as a person you are only in control of yourself and leave it at that.  If you've been through a challenging time in your life you want to be in control.  If you have been through a rough relationship in your life, again you want to be in control.  I sometimes wish I could of influenced things to go a different way.  In the back of my mind I know it is best things turned out the way they did 5 years later because I've grown into a different person.  Everything happens for a reason, and this song explains it perfectly to me.
