Dirty DancingLOCATION: Holiday Party , HudsonYEAR: 2007TAGS: dancingPUBLISHED: March 31, 2008Okay, the song I really wanted was "I Like Big Butts" but I couldn't find it so I chose the closest thing. But my memory revolves around "Big Butts". It was our office party and being as I work for my Dad, my parents are usually at the party and if they would have been, this memory would not even be. Every party, they give out "awards" and one guy received the "Big Butt" award because, apparently, he would ask the front desk girls if his butt looked big. (Yeah, I know, creepy especially if you saw the guy). Anyway, one of my co-workers brought another of our friends as her date and he was having a good time and was a little looped. We were laughing so hard we were choking because our friend, Dave, is hysterical. Anyway, the DJ started playing and a couple from the office was dancing every dance like they were professional dancers. I mean, they had changed their shoes and everything so they could dance. Anyway, the DJ starts "Big Butts" and Dave and I couldn't resist. We go to the middle of the dance floor and start bumping and grinding and spanking each other and just having the time of our lives. The whole crowd was laughing til they cried. And in the background, the other couple is still dancing like they're in competition. Okay, people, it's "Big Butts"! If you can't let loose to "Big Butts" you need to pull the stick out of your rear! We ended the dance to rousing applause and all night long, people came up to us and asked where we'd learned to dance. Learn? Don't you just dance? Anyway, near the end of the night, my one coowrker's wife comes up to me and said it was the best thing she's ever seen and the most hysterical part was the other couple in the background dancing like they were in competition. Honey, there was no competition; Dave and I won hands down!
