It was a long, drawn out, miserable death, and I heard the song in the car for weeks as well. When she died it was still very popular and I heard it all the time. So of course, now whenever I hear this song I think of my sweet grandma who never did anything wrong in her whole life, and waited on everyone hand and foot, and yet had to die such a miserable death. It just doesn't seem fair.
