I ended up being a cadet w/ a police department and would occassionally ride w/ an officer I worked with. There was one I preferred to ride with for many reasons. Primarily because he was super-duper cool and also just a great police officer (a mentor, of sorts). I remember one particular night of riding when he kept singing "Roxanne"...it was stuck in his head...and then it got stuck in MY head. Anyway......whenever I hear this tune today, i think about this officer and can't help but smile w/ the good times I've had.
