Sliding and Spinning

Everyone knows some sort of dance to the "Electric Slide" whether it's actually the Electric Slide or not. I first learned the Electric Slide in middle school during a PE section where we did country dancing. I never forgot it but just learned added variations as I got older. One night in particular during my sophomore year of college, my roommate Jenn and I went country dancing with a couple of the guys in our ward. We went with Dan and Jason and a night that rivals any other night in my college career. Both Dan and Jason were very into trying new things so we decided to try all of the crazy flips and turns that everyone else was doing. The other thing that was the most memorable about that night was doing the "Electric Slide." We were there with a couple of our guy friends and not trying to impress anyone so Jenn and I danced with no reservations. We spun, touched the ground, and added our own little booty shakes and sways. We weren't looking for any attention, we were just looking to have a good time dancing. It was definitely the most memorable time I've ever danced to the "Electric Slide."
