Remembering the Senior ClassLOCATION: Broad Run High School , Ashburn, VAYEAR: 2001TAGS: High school, Spartan Singers, singingPUBLISHED: April 21, 2008My sophomore year of high school I was in a group called Spartan Singers with two other sophomores and all other seniors. Every year to close out the year we had a final concert where we performed and then seniors would sing solos for both the concert and then things like award banquets and graduation. One of the solos was sung by two of my fellow Spartan Singers, and it was truly one of the best duets I've ever heard. Kelly and Courtney sang the song "Please Remember" from Coyote Ugly and brought tears to the eyes of everyone in the audience. They eventually sang the song for Graduation as well, but I remember thinking that I would never forget the senior class that introduced and initiated me into Spartan Singers. I will definitely remember.
