Playful Professional | MEMORY FROM 2002 My One and Only Dance with PatLOCATION: Hotel Ballroom , Sterling, VAYEAR: 2002TAGS: High school, datingPUBLISHED: April 21, 2008My junior year I had the biggest crush on a senior guy named Pat. Of course I think everyone in the entire school had a crush on him, and well I really had no shot. But I was determined to at least be his friend. I think I succeeded by the time he graduated. I remember in particular my junior prom I went with one of my good friends, Trevor, and danced with him for the first couple of slow songs. Then the song "Angel" by Shaggy came on, and I happened to be standing near Pat. I caught his eye, and he came over, grabbed my hand, and we danced. I was in heaven for those few moments as I got to dance with probably my biggest crush of all time. I loved the song before but loved it even more after that.
