Everyone Loves This CD

I was crazy into new age music for some wild reason, and I came across Jonn Serrie. He scored planetarium shows. I thought that was cool. And his music was impossibly, strinkingly beautiful. I acquired Lumia Nights and played it endlessly for weeks.

I was over at Andrew's. I've been friends with Andrew for ten years and I love him. I knew he liked that soothing kind of music sowe put it on and listened for 6 minutes or so. I asked him if he liked it. "Beautiful...thats beautiful..." he said in a distant, enraptured voice. He told me to play the rest of it. So I did. He put it on his laptop for later listening.

One time I brought it over to David's house. David listened to it in a near trance, captivated. He wanted to know Jonn Serrie's entire history. He had his dad burn him a copy of the CD.

After that, every single time I went over to David's he had Lumia Nights playing on repeat. It became the soundtrack to the hangout sessions between my friends and I. Apparently David's friends all really liked it too. Some copied their own CDs of it. Adar, our friend,particularly enjoyed it and asked to borrow it. Even David's dad loved it and asked meif I had more music like it.

Andrew played Lumia Nights all the time. He never got tired of it.

Eventually David moved on to Gnarls Barkley and I got tired of Jonn Serrie. I tucked it away with my CDs.

3 years later, I was going through my CDs and put Lumia Nights on while my boyfriend and I were intimate. I decided I really wasnt into it anymore. My boyfriend really liked it though, so I gave it to him.

Andrew still adores Lumia Nights and can't believe I gave the CD away.
