Second CD EverLOCATION: Home , TorontoYEAR: 1994TAGS: ultimate sin, ozzy osbournePUBLISHED: April 7, 2008When I first got a CD player, I already had a bunch of tapes but no CD's. The first CD I ever bought was the Beavis and Butthead Experience. I was only about 13 years old, but I knew Ozzy Osbourne from watching the show. They always said "Ozzy Rules", so I figured if Beavis and Butthead said it, it must be true. I remember just before I had bought the CD, I also went to a summer camp. I saw one kid there who had an Ozzy Osbourne T-shirt, which featured a back design of Ozzy's hand with all his fingertips severed and broken off. I thought it was so cool so I really wanted to hear this guy. I had no idea about his music, so when I went to look for an Ozzy Osbourne album I just picked the one with the coolest cover. I can't remember which other ones were in stock, but I ended up going with this one. I remember listening to it when I got home on my new CD player and thinking it was so cool. I guess I was kind of destined to be a metalhead considering this is one of the first compact discs I ever bought. Perhaps it was just me being into weird stuff and being attracted to the cover of the album. I went on to purchase The Blizzard of Ozz and find old Black Sabbath albums as well later on, though this was really part of my introduction to metal.
