If there is ever to be a song that can hypnotize or cause involuntary movement, it would have to be this one!  "Give it To Me" was the song that we chose for our cheerleader's dance routine.  I was coaching the cheer squad at a Catholic High School and found a way to "sneak" this song into our routine, without the Priests or any other watchful administrator banning us forever.

Well just as I found a way, I also became temporarily insane! Something about this song just makes you want to move.  Everytime this song comes on now, I stop whatever it is I am doing...and dance! This also happens in the car, so anyone traveling in the South Bay area, be careful around any Ford 150's that seem to have a wild blonde at the wheel!

Now really, I could not think of a better place to become possessed by Timberland & Magoo, than a Catholic school.  It truly is a setting for Exorcist 10. The song starts and then my legs start and it just gets silly from there.  On a brighter side, the girls danced fantastically and the we took home the gold, no one got a lashing with a ruler and no one was fired or expelled...good times all around!

I absolutely do not see any problem with this behavior, that is until I was standing in line at a clthing store, this song came on over the speakers and it happened...I turned into "Insane Cheer Coach"!  With several outfits hanging from their hangers, purse draped over one shoulder and unsuspecting son to my left, I started moving to the beat, counting moves to the 8-count and throwing around arm movements as if I was competing in the National's.

My son begged me to stop and believe me I wanted to, but couldn't! The song was too powerful, the beat so mesmerizing and Timberlands spirit consumed me. I was dancing while writing this because I just could not seem to turn down the volume.  If there was a 12-step program for getting over this song, I would be the chairperson!
