When the movie, Father of the Bride, starring Steve Martin and Diane Keaton was released,  I absolutely fell in love with it.  The whole story line just captures your heart.  I know it's a remake of a black and white classic but it definitely pulls in the modern day crowd.

I will never forget the one song that was featured in the movie, The Way you Look Tonight, by Steve Tyrell.  I remember getting teary eyed thinking about my father and I dancing at my  wedding one day.  It definitely makes you think about your future if you plan to get married one day and if you are close to your father.

When I hear this particular song today, my heart melts and I just get all warm and fuzzy.  I instantly think back to the first time I saw Father of the Bride.  It seriously made me value all of the precious times I had with my father before I became a married woman.

Just a few weeks ago my husband and I viewed the movie on cable tv.  My husband began thinking of our little girl when she grows up and gets married.  He had a hard time watching the movie for that reason since our little one is definitely daddy's little girl.
