Taking it up a notch!

           So Decyfer Down is a Christian rock group.  I originally was not into hard rock in any way and didn't have any plans to ever listen to it.  It was always too much for me.

 My husband brought home this CD by this particular group.  I had never heard of them but my husband said that it was a new group and to just check it out.  It was one of those things where I humored my husband just by listening to it but then the unthinkable happened.

I was totally into it. Why? I am not sure but it was one of those things where it truly expressed one's feelings through music.  I think that after losing a child I had hard emotions and this music shed some light on what I was feeling.  It actually helped me.

The song Burn Back The Sun expressed deeply my feelings.  There was no other song at the time that could bring out such strong emotion and clarity to what I was feeling.  This is probably why I am now inclined to check out rock music when I never gave it a chance before.
