Singing with Becker!

            As a freshman in high school I was shaping my voice talents.  I was in choir at school and did a number of singing projects.  When I first heard Margaret Becker I was hooked! Such a powerhouse voice, I wish she was still singing but to my understanding she is producing albums now.  I found this information out from one of my former co-workers.  She grew up and went to school with Margaret Becker, I thought this was pretty exciting.  This co-worker actually goes and visits her often in Tennessee from time to time.

Because I love to sing I also developed another unique talent on top of that.  I can make my voice sound like the person who is presently singing.  I did it well with Margarets music especially the song Keep My Mind.  No one could believe that I could do this but they were in shock and awe to find out and hear for themselves that I can impersonate singing voices!  Pretty hilarious if you ask me.

I can even do it with some male singing voices if I really try.  One that I can do well and my husband laughs at this is Kevin Max.  He was originally the lead singer on DC Talk.

Anyways, I had a chance to pull out Margaret Becker's album Soul and relive those fun moments.  I can still sound like her. Too funny!
