Rollerskating days

I remember being in 6th grade and one of my favorite activities was to go rollerskating and meet guys.  At the time New Kids on the Block was the hottest group and in young girls eyes no other groups mattered.

As we were skating, Step by Step by NKOTB was playing.  I absolutely fell in love with the song and would request it everytime we went rollerskating. I never seemed to get sick of the song for some reason.

When I drive by the particular roller rink to this day, I always think of New Kids on the Block and Step by Step. It's so strange how things can trigger memories like that.
