Remember the New Leave It To Beaver?

We all know or have heard of the tv show Leave It To Beaver starring Jerry Mathers. The cute little black and white tv show which still aires re-runs to this day.

When I was 11 years old I remember they aired The New Leave It To Beaver where Wally and the Beave are all grown up with kids. I actually remember really liking the show a lot. I had a major crush on Beavers oldest son. His name was Kipp in the show.

They still played the theme song but modernized it for the times. I do not know how long the show aired but I remember the kids were teens when it ended versus the little kids they were when it first started. So it had to of been on for a while.

The theme song in these newer episodes was extremely long. Usually startings of a show are pretty quick but it was like they had to tell the whole story. I am sure the show received not that great of ratings but it was still something clean to watch on television. I think it would be fun if they aired the re-runs of this showon TV Land.
