Our second family vacationLOCATION: Resort , Traverse City MichiganYEAR: 2004TAGS: Traverse City, michigan, kids, baby, jacuzziPUBLISHED: April 3, 2008When my sweet little girl, who was also our first child, turned 10 months old, my husband and I packed up the car and all three of us took off on our second official road trip up north. We booked a reservation at this wonderful resort off of the bay in Traverse City Michigan. It was a really neat place. It was a surprise to find out that my husband booked a suite at the resort so it was a huge living space. It was absolutely beautiful, we had a jacuzzi in in the masterbedroom. They had an indoor pool which was decorated like it was outside with kites and just beautiful murals all throughout the pool room. After taking our sweet girl for her first dip in the pool, we headed back up to the room where we turned on the tv and all three of got into the jacuzzi. The Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards happened to be on so we just watched that for a while. Our daugther just loved all the music and all the kids voices. This group OutKast came on to perform their hit Hey Ya. Our daughter just loved it and was bopping like crazy in the jacuzzi. I found myself really liking this song and looked forward to hearing it whenever it would come on. This song reminds me of my daughter to this day, she is now 5 years old. I always think of that road trip to Traverse City.
