This memory I hold dear to my heart since my little girl is now in cheer/pom-pon at the same age I was.  I was 4 years old when I took my first cheer/pom-pon class.  I remember loving my coach and thinking she was so pretty.  My mom was convinced that I really only liked cheer because of the coach.  I was very clingy to her.  I do not remember her name but I remember she had short curly blonde hair.

We were gearing up and getting ready to learn a special routine to perform to the parents at the end of the session.  The routine was done to Footloose by Kenny Loggins.  It's funny because I barely remember some of the exact moves with the pom-pons.

My mom was rummaging through old photos and she found one of me doing the routine.  It took me right back to that day like it was yesterday.  Footloose instantly comes to mind since that is only my true memory of the song.
