My first loveLOCATION: Freshman year of high school , MichiganYEAR: 1993TAGS: highschool, boyfriend, DC talkPUBLISHED: March 5, 2008It was my freshman year of high school when I first heard this album and particular song. I was going steady with my first love, so I thought, Zach. We were at an all night church party held in the school gymnasium. All types of music was being played and then I heard That Kinda Girl by DC talk. Zach instantly said that this was my song. From that day on everytime I heard this particular song it always reminded me of Zach. While we were together this was a good thing but after 2 years we broke up and then I couldn't even stand hearing the song. To this day when I even hear the song it takes me back to that freshman year and I think of Zach but then I cringe. It was one of those, "What was I thinking" moments in life.
