Junior high, don't miss those days!

Junior high days, oh how I do not miss them at all, but they do make for some excellent memories to share.  Best For Last by Vanessa Williams was the most widely played song for so long.  Everyone just could not get enough of it.

It was a beautiful song and one I always loved lip syncing to in the mirror.  I had a cheesy junior high boyfriend who said that this was our song.  Now that I think back, gag me!  We all have had those, "What were we thinking" memories but hey you live and you learn.

I do not remember Vanessa Williams being that big of hit before this song but I think it helped build up her reputation since years before she had to give up her Miss America title due to some innappropriate photos or something like that.  I guess you would have to redeem yourself somehow.

Even singing the song in my head makes me flash back to my junior high moments. Kind of creepy, some of them I would rather not ever think about again.
