Lindseycl | MEMORY FROM 1996 Graduation song!LOCATION: High school commencement ceremony , MichiganYEAR: 1996TAGS: commencement, high school, class song, graduationPUBLISHED: March 5, 2008I graduated from a Christian school back in 1996. I had the priviledge of singing our class song which was decided to be "I surrender All" by Clay Crosse. I am a singer and have been for years. I sang lead on the worship teams for our school chapels. I was honored when I was selected to sing this song but I still had to audition for the song. Yeah makes sense right? Anyways I remember being more nervous than I have ever been singing in front of people, of course this was the biggest crowd yet. I remember keeping my eyes closed the entire song and pretty much just shaking, afraid to make eye contact with anyone. When the song was over the applause was amazing, I was just so glad it was over. I enjoy listening to the song present day and flashing back to those moments even though I was terrified.
