First Impression!

   In 1995 I was a junior in high school and was searching for cool christian music.  I remember riding in the car with my boyfriend who is now my husband, and he played this new music by a band called Newsboys.  I had heard of them before and heard some of their earlier music but wasn't too interested in them until this particular album"Going Public".  There was one song that really stood out to me and I absolutely loved it called "Shine".

I began to hear this song everywhere.  They became hit sensations and their albums were being sold like crazy.  I remember wanting to see this group in concert I was just fascinated by their unique musical styles.  They all have Australian accents which really was made them neat to listen to.

They later did a Shine re-mix and I thought it was just awesome.  I have been a big fan of Newsboys ever since and truly appreciate their music.  Every album is unique and different, yet you still hear their trademark sounds and styles embedded in the music.  This truly makes them outstanding musicians.
