First Espano'l Solo!

                 During a spring womens retreat for a church we were helping, I was asked to sing a solo for one of the sessions.  Since I was a part of the music team the leaders knew that I had a singing talent since they heard me sing and play the piano.  It was a good thing I brought along solo soundtracks just in case.  Being prepared at these things is so very important.

I had brought along Jaci Velasquez's solo soundtrack Un Lugar Celestial.  There are only bits and pieces of the song that is in spanish the rest in English, but still this was a big step to take actually singing some song in spanish.  I had never done this before but I felt in my heart that I needed to do it and just take the risk.  After all it was God who was going to have to help me.

I was nervouse as hec.  I was so afraid that I was going to screw it up.  I was shaking terribly throughout the whole song.  My eyes stayed tightly shut.  I know that I should have opened my eyes but I was scared to death! This was a big step and risk I was taking, but God helped me through it!
