Detroit Red Wings Fan!

Being a Michigander I am of course a dedicated Detroit Red Wings fan. I love watching the game of hockey it is so exciting. Yeah I know when you think of Michigan right now you probably think of the Detroit Mayor and his mess of problems, well, just pray for the man.

I had never gotten the opportunity to go to a live game until spring of 2006. I am a preschool teacher and I had one of the player's daughters in my class that year. Because I became good friends with the family I will not say their names. They had gotten my husband and I tickets to come to one of the games. I was so very excited at the opportunity. I was pregnant with our 3rd child at the time.

The fanatic environment was such a neat experience. Die hard fans and the roar of the crowds was so phenomenal.

The coolest thing about the team scoring on the opposing net was they would play the song Get Ready 4 This by 2 Unlimited every time. I love this song. We actually used it as our Bridal party entrance at our wedding reception. It surely gets the adrenaline going and just so much fun.
