Livin' La Vida Loca had to be the most popular song the year it was released. You couldn't go anywhere without hearing this song. It was totally danceable of course and you just couldn't help loving the song. I know that many of you guys out there would probably beg to differ. That summer of 1999 my new husband and I went to Cedar Point with the rest of my family. Cedar Point is an amuzement park in Sandusky Ohio for those of you who don't know. Waiting in line for one of the rides, they had this huge music stage set up in the middle of the courtyard. They had this one guy come out with a shiny suit and a few back up dancers. They broke out in their version of Livin'La Vida Loca. It was a nice try. Of course I don't think anyone can master the real thing when the original has already been established. I will never forget that day! Everyone waiting in lines for different rides were dancing like crazy. It was so funny. Hearing the song brings me back to waiting in line to get on the Wild Cat!
