When I was in the fourth grade one of my best friends was totally into Amy Grant. I wasn't sure who this artisit was just yet. My friend Lisa always had her cassette tape on in her room everytime I was over there. I remember the name of the album was Age To Age and the most listened to song was In A Little While. I do not know why we were so into her music, maybe because she was a popular artist at the time. Just humming the song takes me back to Lisa's room where we always hung out. I miss her so much, she moved away when we were in junior high. It was so hard and heartbreaking since we were inseparable. I remember people used to think that we were sisters. Lisa and I went on listening to all of her other albums that were released but then it started to fade. I am not as big of a fan as I was then. Not that there is anything wrong with her music now, I guess you just grow out of certain music and artist's sometimes. I don't know if I will ever again become a fan of Amy Grant but the memory of her is still very much alive when I discovered who she was. Lisa and I stay in contact to this day. She still lives out of state but is now happily married and has 2 children of her own. I still miss her like crazy!
