Everyone was in on the voting and it was just a blast narrowing down the talents to choose the winner of American Idol. The final two contestants which were Justin Guarini and Kelly Clarkson, were competing the final song a Moment Like This. They both did a fabulous job but the song just fit Kelly Clarkson like a glove. I knew in my heart she was going to win this thing. I made sure that I watched every show and if I was going to miss it I recorded it. I participated in the voting and was just a dedicated fan. In the end Kelly Clarkson was the winner of American Idol! This was such an exciting time. There was American Idol explosion everywhere. She won the soon to be recorded song, A Moment Like This! She sang her heart out but I remember she could barely get through some of the song because she was overwhelmed with major excitement. What a thrill that had to be for her. Now she is a big time sensation and going strong. I know she never thought in a million years she would be where she is today! That was such an awesome thing to be a part of.
