A glimpse of my husband before meeting him!

               In 1993 I was a freshman in high school.  I had many friends and loved where I attended school.  One of my friends invited me over to their house one afternoon.  She was a newer friend at the time and just had moved to Michigan from Indiana a couple years prior.

One year before meeting this friend, she attended a public school down the street from her house.  She had these pictures all over her room of people I had never seen. I asked her who they were and she mentioned to me that the the year prior she was the make up artist for the high school cast of grease at her school.  She was pretty proud of her work so she show cased it in her room.

She asked me if I would like to see the video.  I totally was all for that since I loved the movie I was very curious of a high school amateur version.  I was pretty impressed. I remember thinking the guy who played Danny was pretty good looking.  She had many of his pictures around her room as well.

In 1994 I started dating this guy who was in college.  I was a sophomore in high school at the time.  I remember going over to his house to meet his parents.  Somehow we got on the discussion of him being in high school.  Not making any connections yet his mom asked if I wanted to watch a video of him playing Danny in Grease, I said of course.  As I was watching it I couldn't believe how familiar it looked to me.  Then it hit me, I watched this video the year prior.  I couldn't believe it. I told him of my friend and the make up and so forth and he freaked.  What a small world. To get a glimpse of my future husband was crazy.

Whenever I hear any of the songs on the soundtrack I instantly think of my sweet Ron.  He every once in a while busts out with We Go Together.  It's such a fun story to tell to this day.
