And hearing this song for the first time. At the time, I was so out of the loop with the new pop music. This song just reminds me of Junior year: my thinking I was badass one minute, and then completely intimidated the next minute. The lyrics, in all their simplicity, really helped me at the time too. I was stuck on some loser guy who I don't know why I even wasted my time on, now. I listened to this song and remembered all the flaws this guy had... :)
