I was just leaving Intro to Quantum Mechanics when my cell phone rang. Thank goodness it hadn't rang in class. Looking at the caller ID, I rolled my eyes, it was my Dad. No doubt calling to hassle me about how I was going to pay this semesters tuition. I had avoided the last 5 of his millions of attempts to get in touch with me. I had to answer.

Pressing the green answer button, I took a deep breath and said "Hello?"

Immediately chaotic yelps and rants came flooding into my telephone receiver. I was catching little blips of what sounded to be Limp Bizkit. "Hello!?" I repeated.

Finally my Dad answered in a brutal almost non-intelligible yell. He quickly informed me that he was at a concert in Detroit Michigan, Fred Durst was on top of a Budweiser Semi truck throwing cold brew up into crowd, that Pantera and Mudvayne were also there and he was having one hell of a good time.

I asked him who he was there with ( certainly MY Dad wouldn't be at such a concert of his own free will). He responded by informing me that "Women are falling from the sky at me!" and then the connection was gone.

I remember chuckling to myself, and thinking good for him. Then when that feeling wore off I started weighing things out. On my left hand was Intro to Quantum Mechanics and on my right Limp Bizkit, Mudvayne and Pantera. Who is the bigger loser in this scenario? Hey Dad...next time take me with you!
