It seems like when I'm down and need a little boost the song While My Guitar Gently Weeps by the Beetles always seems to come on the radio.  It's funny because that song always reminds me of my Uncle Kirk.

My Uncle Kirk was my mentor.  He taught me so many things, mostly about growing up and whole lot about integrity.  He taught me how to pick myself up when I was down, to not sweat the little stuff, and mostly he taught me about pride, honor and honesty.

My Uncle Kirk passed away in 1995, but this song always takes me back to those good old sunny days, when I was learning about life and how to live it.
