The Wedding of Barbie and Ken

LOCATION: A shoebox on the floor , Port angeles Wa

YEAR: 1981

TAGS: barbies, childhood

PUBLISHED: February 25, 2008

The bride arrived in a Pink Trans Am, which she parked directly on the green shag lawn of the Chapel of the Shoebox.  She eschewed the traditional bridal attire, opting instead for a frothy pink concoction of a dress, adorned with red lipstick kisses.  Her hair was styled in the ever popular Chubby Finger Braid style, and she carried a single daisy as her bouquet.

The groom arrived on a palomino named Dallas.  He was sporting a daring new dark hairstyle, with real roots, and was garbed in Western attire.

Guests included several of the bride's identical sisters, and one disgruntled blond ex-boyfriend of the bride.

The happy couple exited the chapel as the Eagles serenaded them, and they danced on the lawn as their guests looked on with approval.

Rumor has it that the honeymoon got off to a rocky start, (No, you have to take ALL of their clothes off.  Doesn't Barbie go on top?  No?  Are you sure? Why not?) they were last seen lounging by the inflated pool at the popular honeymoon destination known as Under the Chair.

Updated:  Unfortunately, the union lasted a mere 20 minutes, before the groom ran away with one of the bride's sisters, and the bride was consoled by her faithful ex-boyfriend.
