Perfect Ending to Prom WeekendLOCATION: in the car , Jersey ShoreYEAR: 2006TAGS: Jimmy Eat World, graduating high school, prom weekendPUBLISHED: February 21, 2008On Prom weekend it is pretty much an unspoken rule for anyone that lives in New Jersey to go down to the Jersey Shore. So naturally that is what me and a bunch of my friends did. Luckily though we didn’t have to go to a hotel or anything because my friend, Paul, has a shore house so we stayed down there. We had such a fun time on the beach and we went to the Atlantic City boardwalk, plus some other random but fun things, it was a great time. A lot of people that went down were just like friends of Paul’s but after the trip we all became close friends. And on the way home Paul in the other car calls us in my car and tells us to put on a certain radio station, so we put it on and it’s playing “The Middle†by Jimmy Eat World which is just perfect because in like two weeks we were going to be graduating and who knows leading separate lives but we weren’t going to feel left out anymore or anything because we now have each other. “The Middle†summed it up perfectly. It was pretty much one of the best times of our lives and although we tried to re-do it last summer it just wasn‘t the same. But at least we still have those memories of the first prom weekend.
