Party time!

My son spent four years in elementary school before I took him out to home educate. During grade one, he had a birthday party and invited many of his classmates to our small home. At the time, we lived in a cabin in a trailer park. This gave us very little room to have a party, but I had an idea that enabled my son to invite everybody that he wanted to anyway. I would invite two or three guests at a time for one or two hour's duration. It would be an all-day party! Starting at around 9am, spanning the entire day until 5pm, guests came and left all day long. I popped a party hat on my head, prepared a few snacks, chips, yum-cha, and had some soda at the ready. I also had some music on standby.

At one point, my son had two young ladies from his class at the party, both of which wished to dance. Luckily, Macarena was one of our cassettes at hand and everybody knew the moves. My son had learned them at the local shopping mall when a Spanish dancer had taught the young children the Macarena dance moves as part of the school-holiday program. My son had since danced every time he heard the song on TV and we had purchased it on cassette. The girls also knew the moves and I was able to snap a photograph of the trio dancing to the tune, which I put on more than once due to their enjoyment. Most of the other children had ordinary pictures taken, sitting or standing about the room smiling, but there two lucky ladies had a dance shot.
