My new chair

It was because of this specific song that I broke my typing chair and had to buy myself a new one. I just could not sit still when playing the song, resulting in my chair initially creaking its objections to my attempts to dance inside it, followed by making stronger noises and having wobbled ever since. I had downloaded three songs to play and whilst impatiently waiting for my album to arrive, I would play them on my computer as a coffee break. The music is alive and one simply cannot sit still whilst it plays - hence one rather squeaky and lop-sided chair and an excuse to make a new purchase.

Luckily, it was not long before a luxury leather typing-chair became advertised in the junk mail at a reasonable price. It had a high back and arms and swiveled around - it seemed ideal for my new writing career! I managed to bring it home by borrowing a shopping cart and wheeling it three or four blocks. Not having a car, that was really the only free transportation possible. A taxi would have cost too much and I could not carry the heavy package alone.

I tossed on a CD and began to assemble my chair. I must have paid more attention to the music than instructions, as I screwed the arms on backwards and had to begin again. Eventually, I had myself a brand new chair - which I am currently butt-parked in right now, as I type! This particular song makes me think of my chair, as it was the reason I needed one.
