Millennium in NYC

My son and I attempted to spend the Millennium in New York City. Booking the vacation six months in advance, the travel agent responsible for approaching our chosen accommodation informed us that they had declined our booking because it was too early to make bookings and that we should book three months in advance. Three months in advance, the travel agent again made attempt to attain the chosen accommodation on our behalf. This time, they yet again declined. The agent informed us that the establishment was now fully booked. We spent another week attempting to locate alternative places at which to stay without any success. We eventually ended up spending the Millennium in Nashville instead. We had to inform our friend from Miami, who had been hoping to meet up and party with us in New York, that we had been unsuccessful. They did not seem keen on meeting us in Nashville, and so we never did meet.

During 2007, I spent much time attending to matters of growing importance within my life. The person responsible for the introduction of these matters lives in New York. Additionally, I have three other friends living there in the various boroughs. New York is therefore once again on my agenda for a vacation. I have sketchy plans for a late 2008 trip, combining time meeting friends in New York with catching my favorite bands live for the first time in San Francisco. I hope that this time I can crash on someone's couch instead of messing around with booking official accommodation.

With my growing interest in the population of the city, my ears decided to pay extra attention to this particular song when recently obtaining a collection of music from Instar. Whether or not I eventually spend some time in NYC, I will always be spurred into dreaming of such future possibility when listening to this tune.
