madeliaette | MEMORY FROM 1988 It helped me migrateLOCATION: Nurse's home @ hospital , BrightonYEAR: 1988TAGS: migration, dreamsPUBLISHED: March 5, 2008Before I migrated to Australia, I had an interest in several countries. Australia was one of my major interests, however. I found England too small; I was claustrophobic in that country. I watched many of the movies and soapies issuing from Australia at a time when they were just beginning to become extremely popular. I listened to some Australian music also. One of the songs I recall from this era of my life was Down Under. It was featured in a TV show I enjoyed, but I had no idea which band performed it at that time.
