It comes from the days when I still used a radio as background music throughout most of my day. I used to fill my house with music whenever I was awake and at home. These days, the house is more likely to be filled with the sound of fingers hammering speedily onto the keys of a computer, for both my son and I write for fun, as well as me doing so for a living. The house is also likely to be filled with smoke, which brings me back to this song.
