The summer of 2000 my father had just passed away from cancer and I was just entering my senior year of college so I was a mess. I worked at the outlet mall and I befriended a girl named Catherine. Even till this day I find it is still impossible to ask girls out on dates, but this time I was pretty subtle and invited her out to a party that a mutual friend of ours was having. I asked if she needed a ride and we went and had a blast. I see now that we were not all that compatible and the break up was one that I will never forget because I took it really hard, but that night she seemed like she was what was missing in my life and I rushed into a relationship with her and fell deeply in love. As I was taking her home from the party I turned on the radio and like clock work this song started to play. It was like a sign or something that this girl was special. She was. That night ended with our first kiss and I was head over heals. Our relationship lasted two years and like I said before it took me a long time to get over her. I currently am having problems with a new girl, I just can't ever seem to find girls who want what I want, but I will never stop trying to find the one. Lightning does strike twice, doesn't it?
