When all five original Brummies got back together for 2004's Astronaut, the results were anything but cosmic. Then, when founding father Andy Taylor left back in October of last year (for the second time mind you), it finally looked like Duran Duran would go the way of Sirhan Sirhan. But thanks to the bump n' grind genius of one Timbaland and Timberlake, the remaining members have been give a new lease on their mid-lives. "Night Runner" is the infectious, projected single from this coming October's Red Carpet Massacre. And while it's gotta be better than that covers record they did back in the early '90s, let's not get too hasty. As for this track though, don't confuse future sex with love sounds - this cut is both high and tight.
