Recurring AmnesiaLOCATION: Sandpiper Point , Neptune BeachYEAR: 2002TAGS: Kiss From A RosePUBLISHED: March 5, 2008I actually forgot about this song until recently... and I have to admit, running into it reminded me of when my parents used to play it when we rented our first house. The beginning was enough to stick in my head. Sure, it's 80s, I'm a 80s, early 90s fan boy but still, I think it's a good song. I'm lying, actually I LOVE THE SONG. My mom used to play it a lot, and it stuck in my head... at the time. I plum FORGOT it a couple years afterward EXCEPT the beginning. I have ALWAYS remembered the beginning, and probably will for the life of me. Not voluntarily mind you, but I think it's left a big enough mark on me that it'll stay with me. What it means to me however is quite different, that actually is... nothing. Honestly, whenever I hear it I'm calm... like mostly EVERYTHING I listen to, but... I couldn't establish any kind of connection to its lyrics. I love it to death; trust me, if it didn't exist the music world in my eyes. I've no idea what the lyrics are, but I love how it sounds in terms of... the way everything is presented. Its starts VERY SLOW and then just up and gets some actual speed to it. Not so fast as to throw you off, but fast enough for you not is able to catch the lyrics. I think what it's trying to say is that he's trying to love his wife who’s dead or something within that area, because he talks about graves, and getting kissed by roses on them.
