When Songs Come Alive

LOCATION: Theatre , Calgary

YEAR: 1993

Every once in a while a friend does something that just makes me feel like I am so special, so valued. In approximately 1993 my friend Lance took me to see the live stage production of ‘Tommy’.

The theatre was packed and our seats were on the upper level. But the seats were in the first row on the second level so my view of the stage was fantastic. Never before had the music of the rock opera ‘Tommy’ come so alive for me. Though Lance and I have lost touch with each other, I will always treasure that evening.
