Being the dreamer that I am, I quickly fell in love with her, but I just didn't know how to reach out to her to let her know. I talked to my best friend about her to find out how I could get her to give me the time of day. So one high school day afternoon, my friend and I skipped class, went to the beach in his sister's 1992 Jeep Cherokee, turned up Bob Marley's Legend album, smoked all afternoon, and talked about what to do next. It was one of those conversations with you're buddy where you know everything will turn out alright. In hindsight, that conversation got me one step closer to getting the girl...this would happen 4 years later!
