My Green HatLOCATION: Madison Square Garden , New York CityYEAR: 1985TAGS: NYC, MSGPUBLISHED: October 10, 2008It was right after St Patricks Day, at Madison Square Garden. My boyfriend, (later we married and had a son and my husband passed away in 1988), and I had a green cardboard tophat I bought on the street for the parade the day before. I bought glitter and sprinkled U2 on it and during part of the concert I tossed it on stage. Bono picked it up and wore it!! I was screaming I was so excited!!!!! He wore it for an entire song and threw it back out into the audience, I hope whoever caught it still has it! Stefani
