I think the only reason why this song means so much to me is because I really do believe in what the lyrics are saying; I do believe that in all of us we are just waiting for the world to change.

I never was a big fan of John Mayors, most of his songs really don’t make sense and it’s not really my style of music. I have to admit though that I have heard of him though and that I do enjoy a few of him songs. Waiting On The World To Change is my favorite song from him, the lyrics, the beat and the way the artist sings just help that factor. The lyrics of the song are so true, there is so many bad things about this world and there are so many people who can do something about them but wont and there are so many people that want the world to improve and become better.

No one introduce this song to me, my mom was driving me some where and the song came on the radio. The song is calming and I believe that was not written to entertain people by the music but to bring out a message to the world. Many people in our world observing a lot of the violence that happens through the television, news and radio; each time I know that something bad happen or something happened that could be stop the first thought that come to mind is the title of this song.

The song itself is so little but the true meaning is so big. Every person is one fraction of this world and with each person there is a story to tell. People make mistakes and people don’t tell when they know that something bad is going to happen. Waiting On The World To Change just shows that with each of those people it shows that there are people who care; I love this song and when I think off all the bad things that I could be doing right now, I know that all the right things I’m doing/going to do is helping keep the world in balance.
