This song and artist I have to say is very strange. Never in my life time would I image that I would listen to someone like him. Voltaire music is not bad but his lyrics are so strange. My sister gets credits for showing me this artist and song. I don’t know how or when she found out about him but when she did she made sure that I knew about him as well. All his songs remind me of the Dresden Dolls, strange but yet you get addicted.

Out of all of Voltaire songs Man Upstairs is my all time favorite song. When you listen to it for the first time you notice right off the back is the deepness and uniqueness of the singer's voice. Then you hear the entire song and your only question is wondering what this guy was on? The song is funny if you really listen to the lyrics; it talks about a man who is constantly being disturbed by his surrounding neighbors. In the song though there is one particular man who is in charge of all the evil doing; he tells which neighbor should do what and when they should do it. The whole song this one man who is having the hardest of time and his only mission are to kill the leader of the neighbors.

Voltaire has become one of my favorite artist, his mixture of style just keep me entertain and begging for more.
