From opera to QueenLOCATION: Home , ChichesterYEAR: 2003TAGS: sons, push bike, opera, rubbishPUBLISHED: March 15, 2008I am not sure how this happened but in 2003 my husband expanded his musical tastes to include Queen. I have been playing them for years and he has always described it as rubbish and reached for some tenor or other singing some opera or other. I 'blame' my sons who are great Queen fans. Bit of mothers influence there I think but I can take no credit for hubbies change of mind. His favourite is Bicycle Race. I have never worked out why. He used to ride a push bike but I think that connection is a bit tenuious. He doesn't watch cycle racing, preferring golf. It is a good video of the racing so maybe that was an influence. Perhaps it was the drip, drip effect, slowly wearing him down. Who cares! Queen lovers of the world unite whatever is your favourite song.
